Lusting For Covers (169) The Angel and the Prince

Lusting for Covers is a meme found on TBQ so come and join in on this
fun meme!!! 1- Take the graphic (left) to use on your post. Remember to
give credit to the original host (TBQ). 2- Choose your own book cover
that you’ve fallen in “lust” with in the past week. It can be new, old, a
reprint, or even a book that is not yet out– it’s all up to you! If
you find a cover that catches your eye, then showcase it on your blog,
and let others see the pretty covers out there. 3- Copy the direct link
to your own L4C post into the comment section on my post (when in doubt,
use this link and then scroll down to find the post), and allow others
to come and see what you picked! (OPTIONAL): 4- Besides posting the
picture of the book cover you chose, it’s nice to provide the book
summary, title, author, or a website link for the book. It’s not
required, but it can help you readers’ to add more books to their own
list! A brief “Why I choose this cover” is also appreciated, but not

My Candidate For The Week

The Angel and the PrinceLady Knight
The daughter of a French nobleman, Ryen De Bouries wields a sword and rides a destrier as magnificently as the knights of King Charles VI. In place of glittering ballgowns, she wears shining armor; instead of practicing gentle arts, she battles the Englishmen she despises. Those who whisper her name in fear and awe call her the Angel of Death.

Captive Prince
Bryce Princeton is the dreaded Prince of Darkness, a British lord driven by a desire for conquest and revenge. He leads his vanquishing army into France…only to be captured by a fierce-hearted slip of a woman. Ryen is a maid trained in arms, but an innocent in a contest of passion. So, in the shadows of his prison cell, the sensual nobleman refuses to yield. Instead he woos her with a passion no woman dare trust—nor resist.

  1. Got to love when the heroine’s not in a dress. 🙂 The blurb sounds great, too. Thanks for sharing!

Enjoying the heat now that the rain’s passed? I’m already dying during my walks and workouts; not sure how the hell I’ll survive mid-summer.

    • Nothing wrong with old school right? I love the newer covers they have now…but there is something so heartwarming about the older ones, maybe because when I started reading romance, it was with the older style covers.
