Synopsis

The Billionaire Boys Club is a secret society of six men who have vowed success—at any cost. Not all of them are old money, but all of them are incredibly wealthy. They’re just not always as successful when it comes to love…

Audrey Petty’s always been the responsible one. The good twin.  Successful, dependable, and trustworthy—that’s Audrey. She’d be the perfect girlfriend for her childhood crush, billionaire Cade Archer…except that she’s pretty sure she’s not even on his radar. But when fate (and her chaotic twin) come together, Audrey finds out that she’ll be spending the next month with Cade at his remote cabin retreat. It’s a dream come true…

Until she meets her worst nightmare.

Billionaire playboy Reese Durham is used to seducing women to get what he wants. But when stiff, too-proper Audrey bursts into the private mountain lodge and scares his companion out the door, it’s time for a little revenge. It’s clear that Audrey’s in love with his buddy, Cade… and it’s clear to Reese that blackmailing Audrey with this information can get her to agree to just about anything. Like furtive kisses in the dark, or a secret rendezvous in the woods. Audrey may think she knows what she wants, but Reese is determined to show her what she needs.

And as Reese discovers the volatile minx behind the buttoned-up exterior, he starts to think maybe she’s just what he needs, too.

Summary

Audrey Petty, is desperate to get her twin back. Her twin has promised to go with her, to get clean. So they head to their friend and Audrey’s crush, Cade Archer’s remote cabin. Audrey has been in love with Cade ever since she was a teenager, and she knows that this is her chance to make her move. When they arrive however, she finds not Cade, but his friend Reese and a bimbo in a hot tub, she takes drastic measures to get them to leave, but Reese is made of tough balls, and stays just to annoy her. Reese is outraged that this woman, has made a  promise of a good deal to go bad and is out for revenge. To annoy Miss Prim and Proper Assistant and get her to get wild. Reese is a ladies man, can charm and flirt, but only certain methods will work with Audrey, and soon Audrey and Reese are sharing kisses and making some steamy advances toward each other, will they realize what they have together or throw it all away..

The Hero

Reese Durham, is a billionaire playboy, and is one of the six friends who made a secret pact years ago in college. Reese didn’t come from money, but when he took a risk that could have made his company make billions, he is about to lose everything if he doesn’t make this deal that he needs. Reese is a lover of woman and pleasure of any kind, he can flirt and charm any, arrogant at times, loves to push Audrey’s buttons, and has a carefree nature to admire. Reese is a hero that can handle any woman. He sees Audrey for who she really is, not who she appears to be to everyone else. He sees a woman wanting to be free and wild.

The Heroine

Audrey, has always been in love with Cade, but he has no idea. She knows that she has been silent for too long. When an opportunity rises to take her sister to a safe and remote place to help her get clean from drugs, she realizes that this is her chance to show Cade how she really feels. Audrey hides what she really wants, which is Cade until she meets Reese. She finds herself divided, and what was most likeable about her character, was seeing her struggle through it all and making the right decision. We see many qualities from her character that you just find endearing. I enjoyed seeing how firm and stable she is, and when it happens she embraces passion and desire.

Plot and Story Line

The Wrong Billionaire’s Bed is Reese’s and Audrey’s story. I wasn’t sure how much I would love this story, but did it surprise me. I usually don’t like the “I think I am in love with someone but have a passionate affaire with another man” scenarios. But Jessica Clare handles to intricate complexities of the plot very well. The tension between Audrey and Reese is quite entertaining, they like to goat each other, and tend to bring out certain responses in each other. The sparks are quite hot at times, and boy do they sizzle at times. One of the aspects I loved most about this one, was seeing a different side to Audrey. Reese is pretty much the same as we have seen him in the previous books…but Audrey really changes in this story. We see her become more comfortable with herself, and accept every part of herself. Reese balances her out, and Audrey calms Reese down a bit. I really adored this part of their relationship, seeing how they compliment each other in a way that just works seamlessly. We also see hints of Reese’s future story. The actual building of the relationship is quite different in this story than the previous others, but it works pretty smoothly with the plot, and we see quite some entertaining moments that wins your heart over.

The Cover

This might be my least favorite cover of the series. It has zero relation to the actual story more than the other books I have read so far.

Overall View

The Wrong Billionaire’s Bed, is a story of finding love where you least expect to find it. It’s a love story that surprises, shocks, pleases, and delivers a sweet and fun-filled characters to win any reader over!!

  1. LOL this is the first one I read in the series and what set off my cover rant about them. I mean. Nothing to do with it. What in the world?!!

I loved these two though. They really were quite the pair 😀 Glad to see you’re enjoying them too!

    • Yeah the covers I just don’t understand in any way. They are nice to look at but nothing to do with the actual story. but I did love seeing how these two get together and I love the authors style of writing.
