Synopsis
#1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts cordially invites you to meet childhood friends Parker, Emma, Laurel, and Mac—the founders of Vows, one of Connecticut’s premier wedding planning companies.

Parker Brown turned the quartet’s childhood game of Wedding Day into their dream jobs. And now she’s the face of Vows—the one who meets every bride’s demands; keeps every event on schedule; and brings Emma’s romantic flowers, Laurel’s delicious treats, and Mac’s stunning photgraphy together in one glorious package. She knows how to make dreams come true…

Mechanic Malcom Kavanaugh loves figuring out how things work, and Parker Brown—with her mile-long legs—is no exception. But as a good friend to Parker’s brother, Mal knows that moving from minor flirtation to major hookup is a serious step.

No man has rattled Parker in a long time, but the motorcycle-riding, raven-haired Mal seems to have a knack for it. His passionate kisses always catch her of guard, much like her growing feelings for him. Parker’s business risks have always paid off, but now she’ll have to take the chance of a lifetime with her heart.

MY REVIEW

Summary
Parker Brown, is the last of the Bride Quartet, who is left that is not engaged. Parker is the wedding planner, and the organizer of the Vows. Parker is the one that makes the bride’s dreams come true when it comes to weddings. Malcolm Kavanaugh is a mechanic, and a very successful businessman, and is strongly attracted to Parker, and can’t forget the kiss she planted on him, but now he wants to chase after her with her long legs. So amidst all the planning and the weddings and events, Parker is dazzled by Mal’s kisses who just about singed every part of her body with sensation, and knows that she could very well fall madly in love with this man who has caught her off guard with every passionate embrace and into a whirlwind of romance and the road to love….

The Hero (Malcolm Kavanaugh)
Malcolm, or knows as Mal throughout this story, is a very complex man, even though on the outside seems simple enough to understand. Mal didn’t grow up with prestige and opportunity like Parker did. He lost his father years ago, and life wasn’t easy on him or his mother, and now has become successful. Mal has a hard time sharing his past with anyone, he would just as soon forget it and think more about the present and the future, but sooner rather than later he will have to learn to trust his past to the one person that he could trust it with…

The Heroine (Parker Brown)
Parker, although she may have grown up with wealth and every advantage, never having to work if she didn’t want to, has made a very successful business with her three friends, and something that gives her fulfillment and satisfaction from life. Parker has never found love like her friends have, and wonders if she will at times, until Mal comes into her life kissing her with such heat, that catch her off guard, and without realizing it she knows she could easily fall into the trap of love if she hangs around him for much longer….

My Thoughts
Happily Ever After is the fourth in the Bride Quartet, and I am so glad I finally got my hands on this one. I was thrilled to start reading Parker’s story and Nora Roberts didn’t disappoint. This would be my favorite series that she has written so far. Malcolm is the kind of character that any woman couldn’t help but fall for, and I loved the ‘man in the caveman’ attitude he sometimes get, it made my heart skip a beat with sensation, making me wish I was Parker, instead of just the reader. There was such a delightful aspect to this story, with the way these two just fell for each other, that it was like falling in love all over again. Happy Ever After is a sensational read, with a fairy tale type romance contemporary style, a story woven with tender romance on every page, that will satisfy you until the end.

My Favorite Quote
Sometime, he thought, you moved fast; sometimes you moved slow.
He moved fast, giving her a quick yank that had her body colliding with his. The way she said excuse me , like a veteran schoolteacher to an unruly student made him grin before he took her mouth with his. It was even better than pie. Soft, tasty, ripe, with just a hint of shock to cut the sweet.

MY REVIEW

Summary:
Laurel McBane, is part of the Bride Quartet, a group of four friends who known each other since childhood. Laurel’s contribution to the wedding business is Cakes, and she is dang good at it too. Even though this wasn’t Laurel’s dream, but because of financial difficulties with her parents, she had to quit culinary school and decided to help her friends with the wedding business and bake wedding cakes. Even though two of her friends have found love and romance in their lives, Laurel doesn’t really believe she will be as lucky, especially when there is one man that she has always loved, but one who treats her like a sister, Delaney Brown who is Parker’s brother. Even though a passion flares between them, Laurel still has doubts about Delaney and wonders if he could ever love her and still thinks that he is way beyond her reach when it comes to Happily Ever After. But sometimes life has a way of changing circumstances, and that even in her normal life you can still find your Prince Charming…

The Hero (Delaney Brown)
Delaney Brown, is very similar to Parker, very organized and practical. Del has always cared about these four girls that are like sisters to him, and has a protective streak a mile wide especially when it comes to Laurel. When things change between them, with one fiery kiss, he knows that things will be different forever. Del doesn’t know where their relationship will lead them, since this is definitely different for him, however Laurel means the world to him, and he starts to realize how much he is starting to love her and must convince her how sincere he is in his feelings for her.

The Heroine (Laurel McBane)
Laurel, part of the four women that started Vows, and her talent resides in making gorgeous wedding cakes that astound everyone in look and in taste. Laurel has always had a crush on Del, but through a angry spat with him, kisses him surpring the both of them how much desire they feel for one another. Laurel struggled growing up, and now that she is in a relationship with Del, starts to doubt both herself and him, and doesn’t believe that he could ever love her…even though she has loved him for quite some time now…

My Thoughts
Savor The Moment is the third in the Bride Quartet, and my favorite series so far written about this author. I haven’t read too many of her books, I have only read this series and the Chesepeake Bay Series. After reading Savor The Moment, I decided that this is my favorite of the books of the series so far, and even though I haven’t read Parker’s story, I absolutely adored Laurel. I felt connected to Laurel in a way that I wasn’t with Emma or Mac. There was such a emotional side to Savor The Moment, one that connects the story to the reader in a way that usually doesn’t happen very often, but when it does I thoroughly take advantage of the moment and get a box of tissues. (LOL) Although most of the story was witty and sexy, there were still those moments where I definitely needed the tissues, but in a good way. Savor The Moment satisfied me in every way possible, from the first page I was drawn in, and there was nothing that could draw me away from these tender romance. I loved how the story line and is basically holds true for the rest of the series, that these are normal women who have faced different challenges in their lives, that most readers can relate to, and even normal people can find a magical love that sometimes we can only dream and…read about. This is one of the aspects that I have truly enjoyed reading in this series. I just LOVED Savor The Moment, filled with everything that you need in a good romance that will blow you away….

My Favorite Quote
“You’re the only one I’ve ever thought about asking to wear this. The only one I want to wear it. I’ve just driven all the way to Greenwich and back to get it for you. To give it to you because you’re the only one. Marry me, Laurel”

Synopsis:
#1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts cordially invites you to meet childhood friends Parker, Emma, Laurel, and Mac – the founders of Vows, one of Connecticut’s premier wedding planning companies.

Since she was a little girl, Emma Grant has always loved romance. So it’s really no surprise that she has found her calling as a wedding florist. She gets to play with flowers every day and work with her three best friends in the process. She couldn’t ask for a better job.

And on the surface, Emma’s love life seems to be thriving. Slim and sultry, she brings color into every room she enters, just like the arrangements she creates. Men swarm around her, yet she still hasn’t found Mr. Right. And the last place she’s looking is right under her nose.

But that’s just where Jack Cooke is. He’s been best friends with Parker’s brother for years, which makes him practically family. The architect has begun to admit to himself that his feelings for Emma have developed into much more than friendship. And whn Emma returns his passion – kiss for blistering kiss – things start to get complicated at Vows.

Jack has never been big on commitment. Emma yearns for a lifelong love affair. If the two are to find common ground, they must trust in their history – and in their hearts..

My Review:
Emma Grant is one of the four women of the Bride Quartet, who started the wedding business “Vows”, Emma’s special talent is the floral side of weddings. Emma has a love and passion for anything that grows, and to make anything beautiful for the bride. Emma is one of those women, that attract men like bees to honey. However she is pretty picky, and is looking for love and marriage and a family and the “happily ever after” that she has always dreamed of. When her close friend Parker, whom she has known close to forever, kisses her one night, and a passion flares up surprisingly between them, she knows in her heart that she could definitely fall in love with him. Parker has always had a woman on his arm, but never a strong serious relationship that lasts. Ever since his parents got divorced, he has a fear of a woman coming into his home and taking over. However he always has had a thing for Emma, and when he kisses her one night, he knows things between them will never be the same. For their is a pulling force that he can’t deny with her, and he knows he never would want to live a life without her, but the road is bound to get rocky with these two. One wanting a long term love, and the other wanting something just temporary; but sometimes love has different plans.

Well I have to say that I truly enjoyed reading the second one of the Bride Quartet of Nora Roberts, and if the rest of the series is as good as these two books that I have read so far, it will be no doubt my favorite series of hers. My heart just swarmed to this couple, especially to Emma. Emma is such a sweet loving woman, who only dreams of finding love and marriage and a happily ever after. Since her parents have had such a great marriage, she wants the same. However, she never thought that she would fall in love with the one person she knows is the least committed person when relationships are involved. However she just decides to enjoy the moment, and though she knows she is falling for him, she doesn’t want to ruin what they have quite yet. Parker however is totally opposite when a woman is involved, but with things progressing with Emma he denies to himself what he truly feels with her, and what he wants with her for the rest of his life. There is a bit of a rocky road ahead for these two, but its a enjoyable and satisfying story and very emotional especially toward the end, that I definitely had to get a box of tissues. I don’t know if its better than the first one, but I think they are on the same level, although I have to say that I love this couple a bit more. I also enjoyed the emotional side of this tender love story. I am so glad that I have finally read this one, and I recommend it to anyone that likes a good emotional love story.

Synopsis:
#1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts cordially invites you to meet childhood friends Parker, Emma, Laurel, and Mac – the founders of Vows, one of Connecticut’s premier wedding planning companies.

After years of throwing make-believe weddings in the backyard, flowers, photography, desserts, and details are what these women do best: a guaranteed perfect, beautiful day full of memories to last the rest of your life.

With bridal magazine covers to her credit, Mackensie “Mac” Elliot is most at home behind the camera – ready to capture the happy moments she never experienced while growing up. Her father replaced his first family with a second, and now her mother, moving on to yet another man, beg Mac for attention and money. Mac’s foundation is jostled again moments before an important wedding planning meeting when she bumps into the bride-to-be’s brother…an encounter that has them both seeing stars.

Carter Maquire is definitely not her type: he’s stable, and he’s safe. He’s even an English teacher at their high school alma mater. There’s something about him that makes Mac think a casual fling is just what she needs to take her mind off dealing with bridezillas and screening her mother’s phone calls. But a casual fling can turn into something more when you least expect it. And with the help of her three best friends – and business partners – Mac must learn how to make her own happy memories..

My Review:
Mackenzie “Mac” is a wedding photographer, part of a quartet of a wedding business, “Vows”. Mac is the kind of woman that even though she is part of a wedding business, doesn’t believe in a happily ever after. Then Mac meets up with the brother of one of their clients, a school teacher Carter Maguire, whose kisses are more of a rake and wildman than a gentle english teacher. Carter ever since high school has had a secret crush on Mac, and after sharing a blinding passionate kiss that left them bothh senseless, he knows that she will always have a secret place within his heart. As Carter and Mac go about getting to know each other, a sensual desire builds up between them. Mac knows that Carter is the type of man that she has dreamed of, but she doesn’t know if she can trust her heart. She has seen marriage after marriage fail after a certain period of time, but after meeting Carter and his wonderful family, she starts to realize the ever afters do come true. But will Mac come to her senses in time?

This is the first of the “Bride Quartet” and having heard so many good things about this one, I definitely was thrilled to start reading this one. I love weddings and I just have fallen in love with this series. I couldn’t put this one down, Nora Roberts is a good author. Although I have never been so enthralled into a story as I was in this one. I loved how even though Mac and Carter are so different, they also have lots of common ground as well. Another thing that I truly loved how this series is a quartet of four best friends that grew up together, and had a common interest :Weddings. Their passion and love! It was great to see these four women interact, and this story definitely amused and delighted me for the whole story. This is one of my favorite Contemporary romances ever written, it has such a classic love that is built up between these two charming characters. Its definitely one of those romances that will steal into your heart and soul, and make your day a bit brighter!
