 Synopsis
Seth Quinn is finally home.

It’s been a long journey. After a harrowing boyhood with his drug-addicted mother, he’d been taken in by the Quinn family, growing up with three older brothers who’d watched over him with love.

Now a grown man returning from Europe as a successful painter, Seth is settling down on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, surrounded once again by Cam, Ethan, and Phillip, their wives and children, all the blessed chaos of the extended Quinn clan. Finally, he’s back in the little blue-and-white house where there’s always a boat at the dock, a rocker on the porch, and a dog in the yard.

Still, a lot has changed in St. Christopher since he’s been gone – and the most intriguing change of all is the presence of Dru Whitcomb Banks. A city girl who has opened a florist shop in this seaside town, she craves independence and the challenge of establishing herself without the influence of her wealthy connections. In Seth, she sees another kind of challenge – a challenge she can’t resist.

But storms are brewing that are about to put their relationship to the test. Dru’s past has made her sensitive to deception – and slow to trust. And Seth’s past has made him a target of blackmail – as a secret he’s kept hidden for years threatens to explode, destroying his new life and his new love…

My Review:
In Chesepeake Blue, Seth Quinn returns home from Europe. After a successful career as a painter, he knows he needs to return home. Ever since he was fourteen years old, there is a secret that has been haunting him and feels a need to return home and to his family. After a family homecoming that lightens Seth heart and spirit. After overcoming his childhood that was a hellish nightmare, he is now more than ever determined to find joy in life and with his family now that he has returned home for good. Then through a course of fate he meets a woman who runs a florist shop in St Christopher, a woman who he views as a challenge. After meeting her Seth knows he needs to paint her and truly get to know the woman beneath the cool exterior. But there is a rising storm on the horizon, that will come to haunt him and his family if he finds the strength to seek help from those that truly love him.

As I have loved this series, this is the final installment of the series. In this one I read this book “Audio” style. Its been some time since I have listened to a book by Nora Roberts, but I am glad that I did.  Of all the brothers of the Quinn family, Seth is definitely my favorite, especially as we see his childhood in the previous three books, we see a terrified little boy who has been sorely treated in his young life, but then is adopted into the Quinn family and shown the value of family and love. Who encouraged him how to work hard and develop his talents, especially his talent for painting which has made him famous world wide. Now as he returns home Then he meets Drusilla, where a passion and a powerful love ignites between them. Drusilla has grown up in a family unit whereas wealth and title mean everything. Having been hurt in the past, she doesn’t dare trust herself to be hurt by love once more. But when she meets Seth, things change, and the ice around her heart melts with every tender caress and kiss. This is a tender story where both Seth and Dru will have to trust in each other and in Seth’s family to overcome the rising challenge that could tear his whole family apart including the new love he has found in his life. This was such a enchanting story, where all the pieces of the puzzle come together and with a full satisfying end that leaves the reader content. So if you love Nora Roberts than you will definitely fall in love with the Quinn family on Chesepeake Bay!

Synopsis
Following Sea Swept and continued in Rising Tides this is the story — and the conclusion of the captivating trilogy — of the three Quinn brothers and the fight to honor their dead father’s wish to raise a young boy named Seth as their own. With his career on track and a condo overlooking the Inner Harbor, his life on the streets firmly in his past, Phillip Quinn intended to fulfill his father’s wish. But he never expected that he would grow to love Seth, and soon his promise to his father became more than just obligation.

My Review:
Inner Harbor is the third installment in this great series the Chesepeake Bay Saga. Phillip Quinn, is a city boy, he works in the city during the week and then comes homes during weekends to assist his brothers in their booming business of building wood boats and ships. One weekend he meets a woman who stirs things up, and leaves him aching for me. Not just for her body, but to know her personally. As he endeavors to do so, he knows he is falling hard and fast for this smart intelligent and yes a city woman, but there are secrets about her that may destroy everything including his feelings for her. But will those secrets tear their family apart including the young boy whom they have let into their home and their hearts.

I will be honesty, this is by far my favorite of the saga so far. Inner Harbor brought out the strongest emotions from me as I was reading it, and I will say that there was a tear or two shed while reading it, with due cause of course. Phillip Quinn has made a great life for himself, after being adopted and brought into the Quinn family, he wanted to have a career and a life of his own. Now he also has to put some plans on hold, for the sake of a young boy who needs these three brothers more than they would ever come to realize. When he meets Sybill, whom has traveled all over studying people and the way they act, he takes her on adventures which she has never experienced, helping her to feel emotions she would never let herself feel. Sybill, being sister to Seth’s mother, has come to discover what life Seth has here, and to discover if he is happy. Sybill has always loved Seth, but his mother has hurt her, and she feels safer in the cacoon she has built around her heart. But when she starts to get to know Seth once more, she realizes how happy he is with the Quinn, knowing that if the truth ever comes out, that the Quinns will come to despise her especially Seth, the one person she has come to help at all costs. Through certain events, both Phillip and Sybill come to realize that even though their love and feelings are fresh, they are strong, and strong enough to survive any challenge that is ahead of them. It truly was more of a emotional story, and I just loved that aspect of this story especially. The plot and characters comes alive for the reader, so riveting and the feelings and emotions between the characters, definitely a engaging story for the reader, and one that everyone that loves a good story and especially a good romance will come to appreciate Roberts writing, especially among this series.

Synopsis
Nora Roberts presents the second novel in a dramatic trilogy of three men who return home to honor their father’s last wish. Of the three brothers, it was Ethan who shared his father’s passion for the Maryland shore. And now with his father gone, Ethan is determined to make the family boatbuilding business a success. But amidst his achievements lie the most important challenges of his life.

My Review:
Rising Tides is the second installment in the Chesapeake Bay Saga, where we begin with Ethan’s story. Ethan like his brothers came into the Quinn family with a difficult past that with the help of Ray and Stella Quinn was able to overcome and make a good life out of himself. Ethan has always had a secret desire for one woman, that has held his heart for many years, Grace. Grace, having to bear the responsibility of being a single mother to her beloved daughter, whom she sacrifces much for. Having been divorced, and enstranged from her father, times are tough on grace and wearing her thin. When she goes to work as a house cleaner for the Quinns, she is faced frequently with Ethan, whom she has always been strongly attracted to ever since she was young. As she struggles with trying to raise her daughter on her own, and stay independent, things heat up between Grace and the middle Quinn brother. As these two souls come together, and find a precious love they never expected to find, they also find a child, Seth, who needs love and guidance as Ethan bonds with him and finds that he and Seth have more in common than either of them realize, that will make them stronger to face a danger on the horizon, that could disrupt the fragile trust that Seth has built up on the Chesepeake Bay.

I just loved Ethan and Grace’s story, in Rising Tides, we see a romance blossom (finally) between Grace and Ethan whom both are lost in their own way, but find it in each others love. Grace, although circumstances should have left her broken, only have given her a inner strength, to raise her daughter on her own financially and emotionally. When things start to heat up between her and Ethan, she discovers that she has loved him much longer than she ever realized. She yearns to make him see that their love that they have found, will only strengthen them not destroy them. Ethan, having a difficult time in overcoming his past, realizes that he has fallen in love with Grace, but knows that he can never marry her and give her what she deserves. He doesn’t want his past to taint her and her future, but he will find that she will meet him with full on stubborness and fight like hell to give him hope and trust in their love to overcome any challenge no matter the difficulty involved. This was definitely a great book, and I loved it just as much as the first one. I admired both of these characters, they both have experienced pain and suffering, but they also find a way to rise above it. As we see a love grow between them, I found myself on their side, hoping that both of them would see reason, and learn to trust in their feelings for each other, which give them a strength they never expected to find within themselves. I also loved the bond that grows between them and the boy who has come into their home, who needs healing and laughter and love more than anything. I could see how much Seth grows just from these two books so far. It was truly a delightful adventure to discover in this saga.

Synopsis
New York Times” bestselling author Nora Roberts presents the first novel in a stunning new trilogy of three young men bound by the love of the extraordinary couple who took them in and raised them as brothers. Now grown and living in their own, the Quinn brothers must return to the family home on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay, to honor their father’s last request.

My Review:
When Cameron hears that his father, is on his deathbed, he rushes home in Maryland. Cameron, having been adopted by Raymond and Stella Quinn, whom found him a young boy, lost and alone, coming from a terrible situation. They loved him and his two brothers they brought into their home, Ethan and Phillip. When Cameron rushes home after traveling the world doing boat races, he finds that becoming a guardian to a young boy Seth, is far more challenging than he ever suspected. After the loss of his father, he and his brothers must take him in and keep their word to their father, to protect him as they were protected and taken in. There is a twist to this story, where Cameron is faced with Seth’s social worker, who is sexy and he knows that things are about to get more complicated than he ever thought. Anna, after being given Seth’s case, is very intrigued of the aspect of three grown single men willing to raise a young boy, when they have their own lives. However the one that she is faced with and that attracts her is the handsome yet reckless Cameron. As she spends time with Cameron and the young boy Seth, she starts to realize that there is something vital that is happening between her and Cameron, that she can no longer deny to herself, where she finds a love and a family she never expected to find.

I have read Sea Swept but it was a long time ago, and so I thought that I would try reading this series again, especially since I loved it so much. And I am so glad that I did, I just loved Cameron’s story. We have two characters that have strong personalities and they certainly do clash frequently. Anna intent for Seth is to make sure he finds a good home, and the more time she spends with him and the Quinns she comes to realize that he is making himself at home on the Chesepeake Bay, that it would be more healing for him to stay then to leave. There is also a threat on the horizon that will involve the whole family, which will take Anna and Cameron working together, but what neither one of them expects is to fall in love with one another. Its definitely one of my favorite books so far to read by Nora Roberts, I love the whole scenario with them having to raise this young boy who came from a horrific living situation and where they learn that love truly can be a healing balm. It has a strong plot, well connected characters and a very emotional side to the romance side of the story, that was a delightful and thrilling to read.
